Team Scotland Announce 2014 roster

Team Scotland has announced a 30-skater training squad for official international bouts at Blood and Thunder’s world cup in Dallas this year.

The squad is largely made up of WFTDA #94 Auld Reekie Roller Girls, which has 13 representatives, and WFTDA #99 Glasgow Roller Derby, which has nine. Both of these teams earned valuable US bouting experience by touring and attending ECDX last year; Auld Reekie came away from the Philadelphia invitational with two wins and no losses.

With a total of 11 skaters returning to the squad from the 2011 team, Scotland should be in the running to drastically improve its second-to-last placing at the 2011 World Cup.
